Glass's shrew is a shrew from the Ethiopian highlands. It has been recorded in grassland, shrubland, and high-elevation moorland.
In a 2016 comparison, nine specimens had head-and-body lengths of 70–82 mm and tails of 46–64 mm. The tail appears bicolored.
It occurs in upland grassland, ericaceous scrub, and Afroalpine moorland. A 2001 paper reports three specimens collected in 1995 from a grassland–forest mosaic near Dinsho in the Bale Mountains at 3,170 m.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
