The Udzungwa red colobus is found in forests of southwestern Tanzania. A black body contrasts with its red crown and white cheeks and underside; it feeds on leaves and other plant parts.
The upper body is glossy black, with white on the underside and inner limbs. Its crown is shiny red, its cheeks are white, and the short, slightly bushy tail is pale underneath.
It uses several forest types, including semi-deciduous and evergreen forest. Its diet includes young and mature leaves, fruits, flowers, and buds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
