The Sulawesi Flying Fox is a fruit bat found only on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. A small island off eastern Central Sulawesi serves as a daytime roost, and the bats fly to mainland forests at night.
A 2017 field report described bats caught on Tangkuladi Island as having black faces and yellow body fur. These colors were recorded in animals examined at that site.
The colony on Tangkuladi Island rests by day and flies to mainland forests at night. The report describes foraging trips as reaching up to about 25 km from the roost.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
