The Jamaican Mango is a hummingbird endemic to Jamaica that feeds on nectar. Iridescent colors fleck its mostly black body.
The body is mostly black with scattered iridescent magenta, yellow, and green, especially on the crown. Immature males have a blue throat for a limited age period.
It feeds on flower nectar and uses open lowland habitats and forest edges. It may move to lower elevations when flowers become scarce at higher elevations.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
