This small warbler lives on islands in the western Caribbean. Males and females have different plumage.
Males are mostly yellow, with olive and gray-brown streaks on the back and wings. Females have a mostly gray head and back, a yellow underside, and olive wings.
In a Little Cayman survey, singing birds were most often found in dry forest and dry scrub. Individuals were also observed foraging in gumbo-limbo trees.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
