This very poorly recorded swallow-like bird was collected around Bung Boraphet in central Thailand. It has large eyes and a large bill, with a thick, hardened gape. A fragment of a large beetle in a specimen's stomach is direct evidence about its food.
The specimens have large eyes and bills, with a swollen, thick, hardened gape. The feet and claws are also unusually large and robust for an aerial feeder.
The OBC review's direct dietary evidence is a fragment of a large beetle found in one specimen's stomach. This alone does not establish its full diet or hunting method.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
