This millipede is recorded from Kigogo Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a long dorsal spine and a small but well-developed triangular ventral spine.
The examined male material comes from two 1984 collections in montane rain forest at Kigogo.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, the limbus has long, slender triangular lobes with grooves on their outer surfaces.
In these males, the main stem of the gonopod telomere bears a small spine.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
