Adults have shagreened dorsal skin with prominent granular projections. In adults, the nostrils are placed on the lateral sides of the snout. Adults have rudimentary webbing between the toes. It was found at night in July and August: under grasses in a marsh at Baikampady, and in vegetation beside temporary water at Padil. Both sites are highly disturbed and adjacent to major roads and a railway. It is confirmed from Baikampady and Padil in Mangaluru, Karnataka, India.
