Maxwell’s duiker is a small antelope of West African forests and wooded patches in savannah. It stays close to cover and feeds on leaves and fruit.
Its coat is gray to gray-brown with a paler underside. Two white lines run down its head toward the nose, and it has small pointed horns.
It uses trails through undergrowth and stays close to dense cover. It browses leaves of herbs and shrubs and also eats fruit.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
