This small bat is recorded in northwestern Madagascar. Its relatively short fur is brown on the back, with dark buff tips on the belly hairs. Records include dry forest and riverine gallery forest in limestone massifs.
The fur is relatively short and not dense. Dorsal hairs are medium to dark brown, while the ventral hairs have dark buff tips that can give a slightly mottled look.
At the Namoroka Massif, specimens were trapped soon after dusk in slightly disturbed western dry forest, close to a limestone cave entrance. Other nearby records came from gallery forest along flowing water.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
