The least woolly bat is a small woolly bat recorded in Peninsular Malaysia. DNA divergence has been reported between Malaysian Borneo records and those from the peninsula.
It has small ears, dark-brown bases to its dorsal hairs with lighter-brown tips, and dark wing membranes.
It has been recorded at several forest sites in Peninsular Malaysia, including in lowland-forest understory and disturbed areas. These locality records do not establish its roosting ecology.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
