On 6 July 2022, individuals were found between 13:00 and 17:00 on the ground in secondary coniferous forest beside the Lapu River, a tributary of the Jinsha River. It is recorded from Kena Village, Tacheng Town, Weixi County, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.
