In northern Madagascar, specimens have been collected active above the ground in largely undisturbed primary rainforest. Examined specimens confirm records from Andemaka in Ranomafana National Park, Ambolokopatrika, Marojejy and Antsahamanara on the Tsaratànana Massif, Madagascar.
