This very small leaf-nosed bat is recorded from a restricted part of Guinea, Liberia, and Côte d'Ivoire. Lowland and submontane rainforest and caves are documented in its account.
It is a very small bat with grayish-brown fur, sometimes in an orange phase. Its noseleaf has an enlarged pad that partly conceals the nostrils.
Most known individuals were found in caves, suggesting caves may be important roost sites. The specialist account suggests it probably feeds on small, soft-bodied flying insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
