The Palmchat is a Caribbean island bird with a plain brown back and heavily streaked underparts. It also has a red iris and a strong, slightly decurved bill.
The back is plain brown, while the underside is densely streaked. The iris is red, and the bill is strong and slightly decurved.
It lives in small groups of about four to ten birds and builds large communal stick nests. A nest may hold up to fifty pairs, usually in separate chambers, and both parents tend the eggs.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
