The green monkey occurs widely in West Africa. It has golden fur with a green tint and a long tail, and moves on all fours on the ground and in trees.
Its fur is golden with a green tint, and its bare facial skin is dark blue. Soft white fur outlines the face, and the long, slender tail is semi-prehensile.
It travels on all fours on the ground and in the canopy, moving along branch tops with its light body. Calls warn other group members of danger.
