In the single female holotype examined in the 2008 revision, the dorsal shield is mostly smooth, with anterolateral reticulation and faint median reticulation between setae z5 and Z4.
The single female holotype was collected on Gardenia sp. in one event on 11 February 1966 at Blouberg, South Africa.
