The Rufous-bellied Antwren (Isleria guttata) ranges from southern Venezuela through the Guianas to northern Brazil north of the Amazon.
It is about 9 cm long. Males have grey heads, backs and breasts; females have brown backs, pale throats and grey-green breasts. Both sexes have a rufous belly, with pale lines and ochre spots on the wings.
The Brazilian WikiAves species account describes pairs searching for food near the forest floor, rarely joining mixed-species flocks or following army-ant swarms.
