Known from the Ndjolé area of Gabon, males of this spider have two pairs of frontal cheliceral projections.
In the described male, the upper front-body plate is ochre-yellow with brown lateral margins. A brown triangular rear mark connects to the brown eye region.
At Ndjolé site 2, large tree buttresses provided plentiful sheltered spaces. Adults were harder to find at site 1, which lacked large trees.
The forest at site 1 also held the smaller litter-dwelling Smeringopina fang and Smeringopina ndjole.
Its legs are light brown with dark rings near the ends of the femora and tibiae and around the patellae; the femur and tibia tips are whitish. The abdomen has a distinct dark pattern.
Females are generally similar to males, but have shorter hairs just above the mouth.
Males have two pairs of frontal projections on the chelicerae.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
