The Green Jay has a green back and yellow underparts. It has two separated ranges: from southern Texas through Central America, and from the northern Andes into Bolivia.
Its back is green and its underparts yellow. A short blue crest rises from a white or buff crown, and the tail is long.
It lives in humid forests and thickets, often in family groups, and eats insects, small animals, fruit, and seeds.
In Colombia, other members of the flock sometimes help build nests and feed the young.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
