This small white-eye occurs in Palau. A Palau Important Bird Areas report describes it as a resident of the islands' forests that travels through the canopy in conspicuous flocks.
The upperparts are smoky olive-gray and the underparts pale ashy-gray. It has dingy-white lores, brownish ear coverts and no white eye-ring. The wings and tail are dark brownish gray with paler greenish-gray edges.
It moves noisily through the forest canopy in conspicuous flocks, calling as the group forages for seeds and small fruits. The Palau report describes it as a common resident at several important bird areas.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
