Males have a pair of dense hair brushes on the eye area; females lack them. The species is known from Tham Mang Kone cave in Bolikhamsai Province, Laos.
The described male’s upper head-and-chest region is pale ochre-gray with a broad darker central mark. The eye area and face below the eyes are also slightly darker brown.
Records come from inside Tham Mang Kone cave and its entrance in November 2009, and from males and females inside the same cave in March 2010.
The male eye area is raised, with a pair of dense brushes of stronger hairs between the two groups of three eyes.
Females generally resemble males, but lack the hair brushes on the eye area and have the two eye groups closer together.
The described male’s legs are ochre-gray, with slightly paler tips on the long segments. The abdomen is uniformly ochre-gray apart from a darker rectangle near the genital area.
