The Crested Goshawk is a raptor of forests and wooded edges from South to Southeast Asia. It hunts from concealed perches in trees.
Adults have a short crest, grayish head and back, reddish-brown streaks on the chest, and bars on the belly.
It waits among canopy or mid-level branches, then darts after birds, lizards, and large insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
