This spider is known from southern Ukraine to western Kazakhstan and the Orenburg region of Russia.
In the described male, most of the spider is pale ochre-yellow, with a slightly darker central mark on the upper front-body plate.
In 1997 and 2002, males and females were collected on rocks in the Orenburg region of Russia. In 1985, one male was collected under stones in the Karatau Mountains of Kazakhstan.
Its underside front-body plate is light brown with small pale spots, which are larger near the leg bases.
Females are very similar to males, even in the spacing of the rear central eyes.
