This small shrew has a white tuft at the end of its tail. Few field records are available, so much of its way of life remains unknown.
Long bristles occur near the base of the tail, which ends in a white brush of hairs.
Very few records are known. Researchers note that long-tailed Crocidura shrews can be hard to capture and suggest that elusive or partly arboreal habits may explain this, but neither is confirmed for this species.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
