The Philippine tube-nosed fruit bat lives in forests on three Philippine islands. Its tubular nostrils are distinctive, while behavior and breeding records remain sparse.
It has tubular projections around the nostrils about 6 mm long, and the account reports sex-related differences in pelage.
It is associated with the high canopy of tropical forest. Only a few reproductive observations from May and June are reported, and daily behavior is not well described.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
