This tyrant flycatcher occurs on Caribbean islands. It is found at forest edges and gardens and has dark olive-gray upperparts with a grayish-white underside washed yellow below.
The upperparts are dark olive gray; the underside is grayish white with a yellow wash on the belly. It has two grayish-white wing bars, a dark bill with a pinkish lower base, and black legs.
A Dominica garden account says it eats small insects and gives a sharp, shrill whistle. Species-level datasets classify it as a sedentary, diurnal generalist using forests, woodland, scrub, and other semi-open lowland habitats.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
