The Trindade Petrel glides over the sea and feeds on fish and squid, returning to oceanic islands to breed.
Its bill is short and sturdy, suited to seizing soft prey.
At sea, it usually glides close to the surface with little flapping. It eats mainly squid and fish, coming to land to breed and nesting on island ground or in cliff crevices.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
