The Beady-eyed Mouse is a small rodent of northern Andean forests and páramo. It has long, soft gray fur and long whiskers.
The back is dull gray-brown, darker along the middle, and the belly is silvery gray. Its coat is long and soft, and bent whiskers reach well behind the ears.
It is often found on the ground along damp trails, wet stream edges, leaf litter, and mossy logs in cloud-forest mosaics. Its food includes seeds and insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
