This millipede is known from Alpine Recreation Area, Pulaski County, Kentucky, USA.
The described male had a white background, most likely because it had recently moulted.
The five individuals collected in 2017 were beneath about 3 cm of soil beside a hiking path in moderately moist broadleaved deciduous forest.
The five were found within an area of about one square metre, primarily in moulting chambers.
The same male has pale-orange spots on the side extensions of its body segments.
In the same male, the upper surface of the plate immediately behind the head is smooth with an orange margin.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
