The mahogany glider is a marsupial that glides through woodlands in northern Queensland. Its buff-to-apricot belly and dark stripe from the head toward the rump are distinctive.
Its back is mahogany brown and its belly ranges from buff to apricot. A dark stripe runs from the pale crown toward the rump, and a gliding membrane stretches from wrist to ankle.
At night it searches for nectar, pollen, and sap, gliding across gaps between trees as it travels.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
