The body is small, slender, and nearly cylindrical. The carapace reaches 2.7 mm in males and 3.4 mm in females. The straight projection at the front has 9–11 upper teeth and one lower tooth. A broad triangular part near the mouth ends in a finger-like tip. At collection site 10, the stream was 0.1–0.2 m wide and about 0.1 m deep, with rocks and mud on the bottom. Few shrimp were found among the rocks, and the spring water flowed slowly. It has been found in Qiongshan District, Haikou City, Hainan Island.
