A slow loris known from Bangka Island, Indonesia. The adult female described by Lyon has an ochre-buff coat and a dark back stripe that fades around the lower back.
Lyon’s 1906 account describes the adult female type as having ochraceous-buff to ochraceous upperparts. Its dark russet to tawny dorsal stripe faded over the lower back; the facial markings matched the stripe, and the underparts were mixed grey and ochraceous-buff.
On 9 May 2025, a loris that had entered a hut in an oil-palm plantation on Bangka was handed to the ALOBI Wildlife Rescue Center after being caught by residents. At the time of the report that month, it was undergoing rehabilitation before release.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
