Verreaux's Coua lives in southwestern Madagascar. Its grey crest and blue bare skin around the eyes are distinctive, and it often spends time in trees.
The sexes are similar. The back and crest are grey, the tail feathers have white terminal bands, and bare skin around the eyes is blue.
It often spends time in trees and eats fruit, insects, geckos, and small chameleons. The account says it often calls at dusk.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
