A small tyrant flycatcher of northern Venezuela’s wooded mountains. It has an olive back, gray crown, and contrasting black-and-white marks around the eye.
The back and rump are olive green and the crown is gray. A white eyebrow continues past the eye, with a broad white crescent below it; the throat is white and the pale underparts are faintly streaked.
It forages from the forest mid-story to the canopy, eating fruit and insects. It gleans prey from foliage and sometimes sallies briefly to catch insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
