Berthe's mouse lemur is nocturnal and lives in dry deciduous forest in southwestern Madagascar. A dark back stripe and facial markings make it distinctive.
Its fur is reddish, with a dark stripe running from the shoulders toward the tail. Reddish rings surround the eyes, with a pale stripe between them.
It is active at night and may enter a state of torpor during the dry season, lowering its body activity.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
