The Citrine Warbler is a wood-warbler of the Andes, ranging from Venezuela and Colombia south to Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It searches for insects in high-elevation forest and woodland.
A broad yellow supercilium is a useful identification mark. Color varies geographically: the yellow areas become paler in western Colombia, while the northeastern form is darker on the head and upperparts.
It uses high-elevation forest and woodland, especially dense vegetation. It searches for insects on lower branches and in undergrowth, and may join mixed-species flocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
