The African Goshawk is a widespread medium-sized African hawk. Its plumage varies by sex, age, and region.
It has yellow eyes and legs and a white throat. The back, head, and underparts vary from grey or brown to red or barred patterns.
During breeding it uses forests and woodland edges, and may soar while repeating a short, sharp call.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
