The Gray-crowned Palm-Tanager has been recorded on Haiti's southern peninsula and nearby islands. Its flocking and plumage are described in a study of Haitian populations.
It has a gray crown and a white area on the chin, distinguishing it from a close relative with gray extending down the throat.
Groups of about four to six birds were reported during the nonbreeding season.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
