This spider has a low eye region and thickened femora and is known from near Seguin, Haiti.
In the described male, the upper front-body plate and lower face are mainly brown, with pale ochre at the sides of the eye region.
On 28 November 2007, it was collected in degraded forest with plantations near Seguin, within piles of banana leaf sheaths on the ground, in their deeper, wetter parts.
Its legs are the same brown as the front body, becoming slightly paler toward the tips.
Its abdomen is bluish grey, with many black spots except in the central heart area above and on the underside.
The other described male was paler overall, with the pale areas beside the eyes extending farther back.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
