The male captured in Nicaragua had well-marked facial stripes, with yellow tinting at the base of the ears and tragus.
One male was captured at Tolapa on 8 March 2024. The study groups Tolapa with lowland dry and arid-forest localities. A single capture does not establish the species' full habitat preference.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
