This leaf warbler is recorded in montane forest in southern Tibet. Its grey head, yellow-toned body, and facial markings help distinguish it.
Adults have a grey crown and back contrasting with yellow-green upperparts and lemon-yellow underparts. A dark line runs through the eye, the white eye-ring is broken, and the outer tail feathers are white.
In the southern Tibet account, it uses broadleaf and mixed forest at 950–2750 m, searching for food in the middle canopy while flicking its tail and wings. It rarely descends to the ground.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
