The Fairy Flycatcher is a small bird of southern Africa. It makes seasonal movements between the southern Karoo and fynbos in summer and thorn scrub farther north in winter.
Adults have gray, black and white plumage with a pink wash on the chest and belly. A black mask, white eyebrow, white wing stripe and white outer tail tips are distinctive.
It sallies from a perch to catch flying insects. Its seasonal movements connect southern Karoo and fynbos with thorn scrub farther north.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
