This spider is recorded widely from western Ukraine to Xinjiang in China.
In the described male from Makarivka, the spider is mostly pale ochre-yellow, and the brown central mark on the upper front-body plate is divided by a narrow median line.
In 2007 in Ukraine, males and females were collected in a hospital and in or around buildings. In 1988 near Arys, Kazakhstan, one male and one female were collected in clayey ravines.
Its abdomen is unpatterned pale gray. The underside front-body plate is light brown with large whitish marks near the leg bases and elsewhere.
In the described male, the bases of the femora are slightly reddish brown.
In some males, the reddish-brown femoral colour is very faint or absent.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
