Sumichrast's Wren is a wren restricted to limestone areas of southern Mexico. It probes rock crevices with its long bill.
It is chunky, with a long bill, pale gray face, dark cheek patch, and rusty breast.
At Cerro de Oro, Oaxaca, observers saw it search limestone cracks for snails and other invertebrates, moving in quick hops and short flights.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
