This millipede is recorded from Kigogo Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a long, slightly curved dorsal spine and a small triangular ventral spine.
The examined male material comes from two 1984 collections in montane rain forest at Kigogo.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, the limbus has broadly rounded lobes about as long as wide or slightly longer.
In these males, the gonopod telomere ends in two relatively small, simple branches.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
