Adult males have heads longer than wide. Adult males have weak dorsolateral glandular folds separated by scattered granular projections. Adult males lack foot webbing. It was found under leaf litter in a shallow forest stream or under grasses on wet rocky terrain. Males called at 15:00–17:00 during the day and 20:00–22:00 at night. It is recorded from Pamba near Sabarimala, Periyar Tiger Reserve, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala, India.
