Known from the Bélinga Mountains of Gabon, females of this spider vary in the darkness above the mouth and the distinctness of a pale line beneath the abdomen.
In the described male, the upper front-body plate is ochre-yellow with a brown rear mark and broad brown lateral margins. The face below the eyes is brown except immediately beneath the eyes.
At Bélinga, it was common in large webs among and beneath large rocks in forest along a road.
Its abdomen is ochre-gray with distinct dark patterns above, on the sides, and below. Its legs are light brown with dark rings near the ends of the femora and tibiae and around the patellae.
In females, the entire area just above the mouth is sometimes dark. The pale median line on the rear underside of the abdomen varies in distinctness.
