A fairly large black parrot found in and around forests. Its loud calls are musical whistles.
It is all black and can be mistaken for a raptor in flight. It is smaller, with a smaller bill, than the Greater Vasa Parrot.
It is seen in and around forests and sometimes flies in loose small flocks. Its calls are high-pitched, musical whistles.
