This small disk-winged bat was recorded in two areas of northeastern Peru and southeastern Brazil. The 2014 description was based on three adult males; no female was known in that account.
The type specimens have long, woolly fur that is light brown with a slight gray tone on the back. The wing membranes are dark brown, and the thumb and foot carry narrow adhesive disks.
At Jenaro Herrera in Peru, the male holotype and one uncaptured bat shared a dead Cecropia leaf hanging in secondary-forest understory about 2 m above the ground. This was the only roost observation reported in the paper.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
